Arguement
Some people argue just to do it and some do it because they believe they have a point to get across. I'm the type that rarely argues, but when I do it's over something that I know I'm right about. It was this one time when I was in elementary school when one of my friends argued me down that a mammal didn't have hair. When we got back to school we went and asked the teacher, and she told us look to up the defintion for mammal. When we found the defintion my friend got quiet all of a sudden because he saw that the defintion indicated that a mammal had hair. I don't argue unless I know I'm right. Arguing is a way for people to be heard whether they're wrong or right. Those that argue for nothing just want to feel apart of a situation.
Next Semester
I think next semester is going to be great because I don't have but one night class. This semester I have four night classes , which were alright in the beginning, but when time changed I didn't feel like going to those night classes. So, I know for a fact that next semester will be a little better when going to class. I contemplated taking 16 hours, but I decided to take 13 hours. I'm taking another english, theatre, biology, biology lab, and psycology. Next semester will be my second semester as a college student, and I'm really looking forward to it. Also next semester I may be moving off campus into an apartment because it's a little cheaper. Next semester is about a month around the corner, and in actuality this semester blew by.

The Blind Side
Over the weekend me and a friend went to see the new movie The Blind Side. It was every bit good. It was very hilarious and heart warming. The lead role was played by Sandra Bullock. I think this wasthe best performance of her career. She played her role to the T. The movie was basically about a homeless young man who was a very big guy. He had been moved from foster homes a lot. She and her family found him walking the road one night and offered him a place to stay for the night. To make a long story short they fell in love with him and adopted him. He went out for football and was very inexperience, even though he had the physical abilities. He got better and would become one of the most sought after highschool line men in the country. Every school wanted him.He eventually ended up going to Ole Miss. He had a great career there, and was drafted into the pros this past March. I wish I could continue to keep talking about this movie, but I cant't because I'll be typing forever. Bloggers when ever you get some free time I admonish you to go and check this movie out, it will certainly touch you in way never before.

Black Friday
This is like one of the craziest days of the year. This event causes people to get out of the bed early in the morning to go out and shop for different sales. There are a lot of people who prepare in advance for this event. A lot of people do their Christmas shopping on this day. People are very rude and rowdy also during this time. I work on Black Friday, and I know it's going to be crazy because some new jordans are coming out, and that's all everyone been talking about. There will be people literally standing in line cursing. Also, on Black Friday there will be a lot of people who will try to steal things because they think workers won't be watching due to a over whelmed amout of customers. This will be my first Black Friday ever working and I hope everything goes well.
The Best Holidays
I love this time of the year because it's Thanksgiving time and Christmas time. These are like two of the best holidays ever. These holidays bring family home and makes relationships closer. Thanksgiving is just a few days away and alot of people are preparing to make the pilgramge home. I'm making mine's on Monday, and I'm really looking forward to it because I haven't been home in quite awhile. I'm really ready for some good home cooking. After Thanksgiving the best time of the year is peaking around the corner, which is Christmas. I just love this time of the year because it's so happy. I like all the old Christmas shows and movies that come on t.v. , and the old carols. In mine eyes these are the two best holidays ever!

If the World came to an end
If the world came to the end I tried to introduce everyone to Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour. It's no need to try and save material things and people because everyone and everything going to pass away anyway. A lot of people these days would be trying to save cars, houses, pets etc. All these things are good and all , but what good does it make to try and save material things when the world is ending, it's not like we can come back and get them. At this time everything is over with. I can almost see people not trying to save material things, but trying to find a church to go and give their life to Christ. I really do think there would be some who would try to save all the material things they can, but I would be trying to get souls saved if the world came to an end right now.

My Cell Phone
My cell is better than yours!Lol. I really do love my cell phone. It's not a smart phone with tons of space and a thousand apps, but it's good enough for me. I have a Samsung Slide. Even though it's not a touch screen like most of the phones today, I still can use it the way touch screens are used. I can text, surf the web, play games, etc. All of those features are good enough for me. My cell phone may not be the best, but it can do most of the things a smart phone can. When it's said and done I'll have a smart phone eventually, but until then I'm going to stick with my Samsung. I don't understand why people are so crazy about smart phones because a regular phone can do the same thing as a smart phone. I'm like the older people in my community, long as you have a way to call out, and a way to let someone know where at, it'll be alright.
It's Almost Here!
It's about that time of the year where it's time to take sides on who should be in BCS championship game. There are a lot good teams out there who have a shot. A lot people are saying whoever wins the SEC championship game out of Florida and Alabama will have an automatic birth in the championship game. I agree with that because I already know that my beloved Crimison Tide will be there, the question is who will they play. Now there are a a lot speculations out there that says Texas will be the team if they can stay undefeated the reminder of the season and win the Big 12 championship. I sort of agree with it a little bit, but I wouldn 't be surprised if a non-BCS team sneak in and go for it. There are alot of good non-BCS teams this year: Boise State, TCU, BYU, to just name a few. Last year's non-BCS team that played in a BCS bowl game upset my Crimison Tide, and that will help non-BCS schools get noticed by the voters because they have shown in the past that they can play with the big boys. In the end my Crimison Tide will be crown National Champions, and that's all that counts in my eyes.

Unity
Unity is a very important concept. If there's no unity things usually don't work out for the best. Unity is coming together on one accord and agreeing to something. Not having unity can cause disappointments in some situations. My basketball team of my senior year of high school had no unity, everyone wanted to shoot the ball, and blame other people for making the wrong decisions. If we would have had that unity and came together as a team we would have been unstoppable because we had the talent to be state champs. That's life though, sometimes people will cooporate and sometimes they want to do their own thing. So, bloggers remember to have unity with your surroundings and you can tear down some of the highest mountains if you have that unity.

Making the Dean's List
Every since the first the of day school making the Dean's List has been one of my goals. In order for me to make it I have to put in the time by studying and performing well in my school work. I think making the Dean's list will help lay the foundation for my success throughout college. Making the Dean's List in college is a honour. Some of the people I've talked to here are just satisfied with passing their classes, not caring about what grades they get. The Dean's List is usually consisted of students who are motivated and want to be successful. In high school I made honour roll all the time, but its a different kind of ball game in college because some teachers don't care if you don't do your work, it's on you. So, bloggers I will certainly be back to let you know how I did.

Good Eating
It's nothing like good eating, especially in the south. There are pork ribs, grandma's mac n cheese, collard greens and cornbread, etc. Just thinking about all that makes my mouth waters. Sometimes in the south we do to much good eating. That could be some of the reasons while the are so many cases of diabetes and high blood pressure. A lot of people in the south don't look at the unhealthy side of good eating, but mainly focus on the enjoyment of it. In the south when the holidays roll around, especially the fourth of July there's about to be some good eating thats about to be done. Usually the fourth of July not only brings about fire works, but it also brings about a lot of barbecue and sweet sweet treats. Certainly good eating is a hobby of mine.

NBA Season
The NBA season has officially started. For you all who don't know what NBA stands for, its the National Basketball Association. Right now there are some really good teams that are showing potential in the early part of the season. The Lakers who are the world champions from last season are still the team to beat. They acquired some new players this past off-season. The most known one is Ron Artest. I think he's going to help them in so many ways. His defensive intensiveness is like no other, and he's really going to help Kobe out because Kobe always guard the opposing team's best wing man. So, therefore with Artest in town Kobe can just relax on the defensive end and focus more on the offensive end. A lot of teams are out for the Lakers because they want to have the title of the world champions. A few teams went out and got some big name free agents: Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavilers, San Antoino Spurs, to just to name a few. The only team that I see right now that can contend with the Lakers for a championship are the Boston Celtics. They have everyone back from last year. Last year the only reason they didn't make it for in the playoffs was due to the Kevin Garnett's injury. He's the heart and soul of the Celtics. So, when June rolls around and it's NBA finals time, I expect to see the Lakers and Celtics going at it for the title. I'm go ahead and say that the Lakers will win in six games, and keep the Lakers Dynasty going.

Time Change
I'm really glad time has change. It has given everyone an extra hour to sleep, study, eat, etc. Also, it gets darker earlier, so now when I go to my 5:00 class it will be very dark out. This past weekend was very confusing because I forgot that the time was suppose to change. I looked at my phone and the t.v. and noticed something wasn't right with the time. I asked my room mate what time he had, and he didn't know ,so I call the weather man,and got the right time. It was very crazy because I was walking around thinking that I had the right time when in reality it was the wrong time. I don't understand why time has to change, it should just be a set time for everyone. Overall the time change will help some people because of the extra hour that it gives, maybe now they can get to where they need to be on time for a change.

Cell phones
Cell phones have positives and negatives. I think there are more positives than negatives.
Some of the negatives are trying to text while you driving and having an accident, texting while in class and getting in trouble, sending dirty pictures or texts, etc. Positives are that you can useit when you're stranded some where to call home, use it check e-mail for something important, record a teacher lecture, if in accident and someone hits you and drive off you can take a picture of their license plate with it, can be use for alarm cook to wake you up for class, etc. So, there are a lot of positive and negative uses of a cell phone.
Trust
Trust is something that's gain along the way with others. Trust is very important because if no one can trust you, they wouldn't want to be around you. If you can be trusted, people will come to you when they are going through with things, and pour out to you. It's good to be trusted because you want to let people know they can depend on you. Also trust is needed when you're in some kind of relationship. There is a verse in the bible that says, " Trust in God with all thine heart and lean not to thy own understanding." So he should be the first person we trust in.Trust in a relationship is very important because if you don't have that, after awhile that relationship is going to be done. You don't want anyone to be calling up on you every five minutes asking you where you at, who you with, and how long you going to be gone. That's not trust, but insecurity. So, trust is a big thing that develops over time, and is very important.
Music
I love music. It relaxes me when I'm stressed out. I really like soft soul music that just puts your mind in a peaceful state. My favorite musician is John Legend. His music is so great to listen to. One of my favorite songs by him is called "So High." This guy is so talented because he can play the piano while he sings. Playing the piano is another thing thats soothes me. When I'm playing or someone else is playing I'm in another zone. Music can heal the soul when its going through. Some music is just crazy because of the wild lyrics, and the way they degrade people. Music can be made just by tapping on dishes with spoons and forks. I really like good music, and the way it makes me feel.

10 years from now
10 years from now I see myself some where in a class room teaching biology. I don't know what city, and I don't know what school system. When I think about it, 10 years will be here in no time. Hopefully I'll be ready to start a family if God permits me. Also i'll probably have my master's or on the verge of obtaining it. I'll be about 29 10 years from now, and that's still young enough to kind enjoy life some more. I really am looking forward to the future.

Blogging
Blogging is a way for people to let other people know how they feel. There are so many blogging websites that it's ridculous. There's facebook, myspace, black planet, twitter, etc. I have like four blog pages myself. I like them because you can catch up with old partners who you may have lost contact with over the course of time. I have found alot of old partners who I haven't talk to in a long time. There are so many people who are blogging now. From toddlers to grannies. Some people use blogging as a way to network, and while some use it to make fools of themselves. Some people just put all of their business out on these blogging sites. Me personally, I just let the world know how I'm doing, and updatethem on what I'm doing at that exact moment. Overall blogging is a good way to work on typing, and your writing technique.
Madden
This is like the best football game ever. When my partners and I play this we're so competive. We have also stayed up all night just playing each other. My favorite part about playing Madden is the trash talk . When my partners and I are playing, we're not friends at all because its about winning and bragging rights. Also, sometimes we play online against other opponents to test our overall game. We have been very successful with online play. The creators of this great game are really brillant. I've been playing Madden every since I could remember. It's the best game ever in my opinon. I've had alot of fun playing this game. This game is so big that there are national tournaments where Madden gamers face off with other gamers. There's alot of money involved, so you have to be on top of your game. People lose friendship playing Madden. Again I say,"the best game ever,"and I'm going to continue to stand by that.
My weekend
I had a pretty good weekend because for one, Alabama won a close game against Tennessee. Alabama winning was the highlight of my weekend. I had to work this past weekend, so I didn't get to see all of the Alabama game. I wanted to stay and watch it, but work was calling. When I got to work it was crazy because the new Jordans had just been released. People were very anxious to buy them. I don't see why people are so crazy over them dog on shoes. I guess they think since they can't play like him, they might as well get his shoes because that's the next closest thing. The mall was very packed out with people. There were so many little kids running around. I saw a few without any adult supervision. Also, a new movie came out so that made it more crazy. Overall my weekend was pretty good.

Influence
I think that I'm an good influence on people, especially the young kids in my communtiy. I just try to interact with them and let them know I really care. I always try to influence people in the right way because I don't know who's watching. I also just like to see people heading in the right direction. When I influence a person in the right way I just feel so accomplished. I can even influence people who have already been influenced in a good way. A person can never be to influenced by another in the right way. When a person see how someone else is trying to influence them in the right way, they may say, hey that person really cares about me, I really need to step it up and do better. So, overall influencing people in the right way is a BIG motive of mine.

Bravery
When I think of bravery I think of doing something heroic or standing up for something right. I think when a person does something brave they sort of do it without thinking because if they thought about it, they probably wouldn't do it because bravery can be dangerous sometimes. When some people do something brave they really don't realize that it could be dangerous, they just act on pure instinct, and when its all over and they think about it, they'll realize that they probably wouldn't do it anymore unless it was a life and death situation. Being brave takes alot of guts. Being brave is an honour, and it also shows other people that you care.

Cold Weather
I love this time of the year because cold weather is so fun. Just breathing it in makes me feel so revitalize. Its way better than hot weather. I'd rather be cold than hot any day. This cold weather has been setting in of lately. I hope it snows because cold and snow make for a fun time for me. When it gets cold it lets me know that Thanksgiving and Christmas is about to roll around. To me its not Thanksgiving or Christmas if its not cold. Also cold weather makes me think of big jackets. I love wear big heavy duty jackets when its cold because it makes feel sort of invincible. I'm really enjoying this cold weather and the freshness it brings to me.

Learning to Drive a Manual
I remember when my dad first taught me how to drive a manual vehicle. I was about eight or nine, and one day he pulled over while we were coming home from our town store, and told he me to get behind the wheel. I was so shocked because I didn't think he would let me start driving so soon. I was so confused when I got behind the wheel. I didn't know what to do. Heck, I didn't even know how to start the truck. He told me to put my foot on the clutch and hold it down and turn the ignition. I choked down about ten times before I got it to crank. I pulled off just a chugging along. I missed so many gears until it was ridiculous. He told me to press to the clutch and he would shift. He did that to learn me how to shift on time. As time progressed I got better at driving a manual. Its so much fun driving them because I just like shifting. Bloggers if you can't drive a manual, you need to learn because its so much fun.

My Car
My car was given to me by my brother. It's a 2002 Mazda Millena . It's a very good car. Recently I've been having some trouble with the raditor on it. The car's not running hot, but the temperature gauge can keeps telling me that it's hot. Someone told me my theromstat may be stuck. I don't know because I don't know to much about cars. My dad suppose to be coming sometime or other to come look at it. I really don't want another car because I really love this one, but if ole Sue doesn't perform like she suppose to, I may have to look into getting another one.

Midterms
Doing good on a mid-term can determine if you're going to past a class. Its so crazy because people are out of their mind during this time. Alot people don't study for them, and they wonder why they're failing the class. I have had mid terms in different classes in consecutive days. If you want to do well on them you really need to put in the time to study. Mid terms are very important, and alot of people don't realize that until they're packing their bags to head home because they failed all their classes. So bloggers if you have mid terms its imperative that you put in the time to study because you want to do good on them.
My Worst Class
I hate this class with a passion. The professor is good and teaches well, but I just hate the class. Its so boring learning about dead people. I know its important to know some history of your country, but my goodness why do we have to go into so much detail. The reason I think I hate the class so much is because the tests are so difficult. If you don't study you can just hang it up if you think you're gonig to past. Overall I hate history, and I'm glad I'm not a history major.Better them than me.

Do I really I want to be What You Are.
Well I'm planning on going into your field of study, and I am very curious about some of the outcomes and factors pertaining to it. Is it a field that I would love getting up going to everyday? Will I be able to make a difference in other people lives because that's a motive of mine? Are there good benefits? Is this field a baby booming field right now? Do I want to do it on a higher level or lower level? Will I be able to make my own decisions and live with them? Do this field of study ever stress you out? Are you the top man or do you work under someone? Is the field I really want to go into?

Accomplish
Everyday I try to get something accomplish. Whether its from studying, cleaning, working out, etc. I think its so important to get things accomplished on a daily basis. If you get things accomplish daily, you can prevent yourself from getting so far behind, and staying ahead a little keeps you a little stress free. If it's some small, I try to get about two or three things accomplished. For me getting something accomplish is like finishing a class because that's one least thing you have to worry about. If everyone got something accomplished everyday, the world wouldn't be so far behind. Bloggers, remember and try to get something accomplish everyday because it will keep you from getting so far behind.
Washing Clothes
Washing clothes here at AUM is very crazy. Its so hard to find a wash machine. The best days to wash is Wednesday's,Thursday morning,or Sunday. I always end up going down there on the days when everyone is trying to wash. If you find an open washing machine, and when you finish you can't find a dryer, so you're down there for an additional hour and thirty minutes. The best thing about washing here is that you get to meet new people. I know I have meet alot of new people from washing. I may as well have some positive coming from waiting on a washing machine or dryer. Overall it's ok because I get to see new people.

Broke Down
Yesterday my car made me so mad. I was coming back from the donut place, and I stopped at a stop sign, and my car just cut off all of suddenly. I was like what in the world. To make it so bad it was a host of cars behind me. I was so embarassed. I tried to start it, but it wouldn't say anything. A lady stop and asked me did I need any help. She really couldn't do anything because she was an elderly woman. She stayed anyway, until someone came along. This little man came and gave me a hand. He told me to pop the hood, and when I popped it he said," Your battery cable just came a loose". I was so happy that it wasn't anything series. I thanked he and the lady for being good Samaritans because they could have passed me by. I'm glad there are still some good people in this world. Without there help I would just have been a lad in distress.

First Paper
I've officially received my first grade for my first college paper. I'm not satisfied with it, but I can live with it. I made a B. I thought that I would of did a little better than a B, but I know I must improve if I want to obtain an A for the next paper. This first paper really showed me that I need to improve on some things in my writing. I also need to let more than one person critique my paper. The next paper I have to do is a textual analysis on an ad. I plan on making an A on this one because that's all I settle for. I know I have to improve on the things that I missed on my first paper. So bloggers I'll be back and let you know how I did on the textual analysis

My Day
Overall i had a good day. I woke up around 9:30am to do some study before i went to work. After studying i got some breakfast. I finished eating, and then i got ready to leave. I was a late for work because i trying to watch a football game, but i made it there before we had customers. It was slow, so that made my day even slower. I got off at 6:30pm, went to my sister's house and got some dinner. After that I went to Wal-Mart and got somethings. I got back on campus about 8:00pm. After that I just chilled

Kanye at the VMAs
I know you seen it or heard about it. "Kanye why would you do that". Kanye was so wrong for doing what he did the other day at the VMAs. I like him and all, but for that night he was just a jerk. You just don't try to steal someone's moment to shine. He just straight out embarassed Talor Swift, and hisself. People just don't think before they act. After the VMAs, he was on the Jay Leno show where Jay asked, "What would your mother think about the other night"? Kanye was just speechless. What has made me mad is that he has not publicly apologize to Taylor yet. As of now I think it has blown over, but every year when the VMAs roll around that clip will be replayed on every tv station.
What I've been learning
In all of classes that I've taken, I have learned alot. I have some very good instructors, who try to get the information out I need to be successful in their classes. I have also learned that its not the instructors responsibility to make sure you're keeping up with certain things, like these blogs. I've also learned that in order to do well, I had to manage my time when it came down to studying and class. Another thing I've learned is that in order to be a good student, you must be discipline. All the classes that I take have benefited me in some sort. Some of my classes made me realize that in order to be a good student, I have to put in the time and do my best.

Study
Studying is very important, especially when you don't know anything about the topic that's being discussed. Some people wait to the last minute to study for a test, and sometimes it's the final test, and that could determine if they pass a class. It's very important to study early because you want to be able to grasp the info, and have it in your mind. Putting in the time to study really pays off. It was this one time in highschool where I had a test, and I knew I needed to study in order to pass the test, but I thought that I could look at the material the day of test and pass. Naw it didn't even work like that. I knew that I probably wouldn't pass the test because I didn't study. The next day when I got it back, I saw that I had made a 65. That's failing for me. From then on I realized if I wanted to pass my tests with flying colors, I had to put in the time and study. Bloggers out there, its imperative that you study.
Hallowen as a Kid
Hallowen growing up for me was much different probably from other kids. My mom didn't really allow my siblings and I to go trick or treating. She would instead have some activity going on at the house and we would invite people to come over.If we didn't have anything at the house for hallowen, we went to a jamboree that our church had. It was mainly to keep the kids off the streets during hallowen to keep them out of trouble. This really help them to stay out of trouble during hallowen. Every year the amount of kids increase in coming. This was really fun because we played alot games with each other, and got to meet new people. We also got alot of candy and other goodies at the end. We played Bible quiz games, checkers , and all kinds of other games. I know alot of kids might say hallowen night is about throwing eggs, not about going to jamborees, but its a great way to stay out of trouble. Even though I didn't experience a traditional hallowen, I still got a lot caandy just like you other kids.

My First Biology Test
Biology is a subject that I enjoy learning, so when I registered for this class, I knew I probably would do well it. Also when I registered for this class I didn't know what teacher to take, so I just picked I one. Lucky me I picked Nathan Okia, in which a colossus of people I meet says he's like the hardest biology teacher there is. I was kind of nervous when I heard that, but that if I studied and did what I suppose to it would be alright. Not to long ago he gave us a pop quiz, and alot of students hadn't been studying like they suppose to, and they were just freaking out when he was passing out the pop quiz because they weren't ready for it. Me on the other hand, I was calm and cool because I knew I was going to pass it because I had been study from week one. The next class meeting he gave them back. I made a 90, which should have been a 100 because I knew the answer to the problem, but wasn't sure about it. About three weeks later it was time for our first test in his class. I knew I didn't that much because I had been studying since week one. I just browsed over my notes and handouts. The next day when I got to class I was nervous because I didn't know how his test was going to be. Once he handed them out, I knew that I was going to do well. When it was time to turn them in, I told him that I aced it. The next class meeting I was anxious to see my test. Before he passed them out he told us that there were six A's. I knew one was mine. When he call my name, I became a bit nervous, but I knew I passed it. When I got my test back I saw an 89 on it, boy was I happy because an A in his class starts at an 85. So that was my first biology test and it went well. Bloggers outthere I'll be back to let you know how I'm doing in my other classes.

Where I lived
The place where I used to live is so different from Montgomery. It's called, Packards Bend, and yes that's in Alabama. Its very rural and small. Its a place where everybody knows you, and you know everybody. It probably has a population of about 200 people, while the other hand, Montgomery having way more than that. The lifestyle is faster here. Also there are stop lights here, and we don't stop lights where I lived, nothing but a few stop signs. Montgomery offers way more opportunities than where I used to live. There's one thing where I used to live that Montgomery doesn't offer, and that's the good hospitality that we have. We have alot nice people in my hometown. If you did some wrong, everybody knew you or your family, so if you wanted save your self some humilation, you had to do the right thing. Overall I loved where I lived, and wouldn't trade it for the world!

My First Day of Work
Today was my first day of work at my new job, and it went well. I supposed to have worked from 12 to 4, but I worked until 5. I want complain, I really need the hours. The manager and the other employees were very nice and very helpful towards me. I made a few sales today. We weren't very busy today , so I had time to learn my way around the store. Eventually time passed by, and it was almost time for me to get off, when all of sudden we had a rush of people to come in. I said," I'm glad I'm about to get off", because I didn't feel like dealing with all those people. Overall,my first day of work went well.

Best Advice
The best advice that I've probably gotten, has to be from my dad. He instill in me, to always take pride in my work. He told me it doesn't matter what I'm doing, do my best, because when you do your best, the rest will take care itself. He said, "Hard work is a must, if you want to make it." Every time I attempt to do something, I always try to work hard at it, because that's how I was taught. When I'm faced with a diffcult challenge, I rely on the advice that my dad gave me, and that really helps me through.

The First Paper
Well this is my first college paper, and I'm not that excited about it. Maybe because I haven't written anything formal in about six months .The paper is on what experiences influenced me as a writer . I had to first due a draft, so that I could have some to work off of. I want this paper to be a good one, so I started extra early. We had to turn in a draft by a certain time, so that's one reason I started early. The other day we got our draft back and I made a "B". That let me know I had to be better on my final paper, which is due in a few days. So blogger nation I will get back to you on how I did on my final paper. Peace

The Injuries
It was my sixth grade year, when I got injuried. It was during spring break, and I was at a friend's house, and we were jumping on the trampoline. We decided to wrestle, and you now how boys are we it comes to wrestling, we want to show off our strength. Everything was going alright in the beginning, and then all of sudden, my friend grabbed me and threw me down. I blanked out, and when I regain consciousness, I had a busted head, and my right wrist was broken. I thought I was about to die, because I never seen that much blood just gushing out me. My friend's yelled for our dad's to come up, because they were in the backyard. They came running up, and asked what had happen, and we told them that we were wrestling. They didn't say anything, because they knew that's how boys play, it was just a freak accident in the end. So they rushed me to the ER, which is about 10 minutes away. When we got there, the er staff took me right in, and fixed me up. When they finished, they told me not to go into the field of wrestling. Just a little er humor. Over the weeks, my injuries were healing, and doing well. I will never forget this, neither will my friend, because he always use it against me when I try to wrestle around with him . He says, " you know you don't want none of this, I've already did you in one time," in a humorous way, he'd say

My Job
My job right now is the perfect job me. It works around my schedule, so therefore it doesn't interfere with school, and it don't get any better than that. The work is fun, because I get to interact with people, and help them find what they need. My job is at an athletic store called, Hibbett Sports. Its located in Eastdale Mall. I started working there this summer. I think that its so fun me, because I'm an athlete, and what athlete wouldn't want to work at an athletic store. I also get a 25% discount off all the merchandise in the store, so that's a plus! I'm really glad that I have the opportunity to work at Hibbetts Sports.
My weekend
My weekend was filled with a lot college football and good eating. I started the weekend off first with a little studying, so that I could stay ahead of my classes. The first game I watched was, Michigan versus Notre Dame. It was a game filled and packed with a lot hard hitting and good offense. The game went down to the wire. About 45 seconds left on the clock, Michigan marched down field and scored a touchdown, to give them the victory. After I finish watching that game my friend called me to come over to his house to cookout, and to watch some more football. When I got there his dad was cooking on the grill, and it smelled so good. I went in and greeted everybody. The Alabama game was on when I made it to the t.v. , and they were up by a little. Even though they weren't playing a prestigious program, it was still fun to watch Alabama football. They won in the end, so I was happy. After the game I got some barbecue, which was smoking. After we ate, we sat down to watch some more football, and enjoyed the rest of the day.

Elementary School
I remember when I was in elementary school, and it was this one teacher that all the students feared. Fortunately I was kindergarten when I first heard of her. Her name was Mrs.Pursor, and she taught second grade. Everyone who took her said, she was so mean. She used to put students in corners for not cooperating. I was scared to walk pass her classroom when I started school. Every time I saw her in the hallway, I'd drop my head, because she looked so mean. When I got older, I realized she probably did that on purpose, because she knew students were talking about how mean she was, and she wanted us to think that. In the end I found her to be pretty nice, even though she left before I got to her class.Yes!!!!!!

Labor Day
Labor Day was awesome for me. I got to be at home with my family, and I caught up with some of my old high school friends. The day started off with me going down the road to see my granny, who I had not seen in awhile. I really miss her great cooking . I sat and talked with her and my aunts for awhile, and afterwards I went to visit one of my friends who I had not seen in a minute. He was doing good. After I left there, I headed home, because mom was cooking on the grill, boy do I love barbecue. I could smell the aroma of the meat from the driveway. I got out with a smile on my face, because I was glad that I was at home. The best part about the barbecue was, that I could eat it in front of the football game that was on, and everybody knows that's the best time to eat barbecue. It was good to eat some of mom's home cooking again, which I missed. After we finished eating, we finished watching the game, and went outside to see daddy ride the horse. The horse really looked good. The day was almost over, time for me to get ready to leave, and come back to get ready for school. I gave my hugs and love to the family, and packed up and left.
College Football
Man this is the best time of the year. College football is exciting from the beginning to the end, because teams are trying to stay undefeated, and receive a spot to play in a BCS game, especially the national championship game. A lot of teams don't get any respect during the season, especially non BCS conferences. These are the teams that are in weak conferences that no one respects, but at the end they usually upset the top dogs. Just last year, Utah from a non BCS conference, upset my beloved Crimson Tide in the Sugar Bowl. I was really upset, but that's college football for you. In order to get a good bowl game, a team needs to have a good schedule, and some good wins against some tough opponents, and maybe at the end of the year they'll be invited to participate in a bowl game. This time of the year is very special to me, because it brings my family, friends, and me together for some good ole fun.

10 Things I'll never do.
There are alot things I'll do, and there are alot more of things I'll never do. I'll never go deep sea swimming, skydiving, out in the wild to feed lions, snake hunting, ride a camel, eat bizzare food like the guy off the Travel Channel, steal, kill, drink alcohol, go on the game show Survivor, and those are a few things I'll never do.

Staying Prepared
Its so important to stay prepared this day and age, because you don't know when you might have to do something. Every since the first week of class I've been studying, trying to stay on top my work. Today on the way to class I was talking to a girl from Biology class, and I asked her had she been studying for the class, and she said, "no", and I was like you're going to be way behind, she said, "I'll study the week of the test", which is September 17, and I was like ok that's on you. Today nobody knew that we were going to have a pop Biology quiz in Dr.Nathan Okia's class. Alot of the students were so shocked and discombalated, because I guess they weren't prepared for it. I was like, I'm going to blow this out of the water, because I had been preparing since the first week of school. After finishing it ,I felt real good about it, while on the other hand, some of the students were still in shock about the thing. To the blogger nation, please stay prepared, because you never know when you'll have to do a thing.

My Dorm
I remember the first day that I moved into my dorm. When I first walked in, there was a strange aroma, that I thought could be a detriment to my health. The space itself was so disturbed. The blinds were slinged across the windows, looking like it just went through a tropical storm. The ceiling leaked a little like rain drops coming from the heavens. The leaking made a remnant of the ceiling brown, making you think it was already Autumn. The cleanest thing in there was probably the chestnut hardwood furniture. I had to take care of all this, because I couldn't live in that bat's den. So I got on it, called housing, and started cleaning up. It took awhile to clean and get everything in order, but we did. Now I have my dorm spotless, its like an oasis in the Bahamas. I especially love the tropical fruit aroma that it now has. My rugged dorm has blummed to be my own very space.

Turning 16
Turning 16 for me was so fun. Being 16 comes with so many new opportunties, that you're ready to jump on and ride. One of those are getting driver licenses, that's like every 16 year old's goal when they turn 16. I remember when I got my licenses, boy was I super happy, I remember the date, and everything. Turning 16 also means that you get a little more freedom from the folks, you get to stay out a little later, drive by youself, and things that come along when turning the big one six . Turning 16 is like winning the superbowl, for most teenagers. Sixteen means a whole lot to teenagers this day and age, because they think that when they turn 16, that they can do what ever they please, but it don't work that of way. To the blogger nation outthere, especially to you ones who are turning 16, its special turning 16, but you have to remember you're a still a child and under mom's and dad's roof. Peace out

My Senior Year of Highschool
Boy was my senior year the best ever, I believe. I was so excited about it the start of the school year. I was sort of like the big man on campus, but I didn't do the bullying thing and wasn't the cocky type. It all started with me being named my basketball team captain.I had a great season, leading the team in scoring, assists, rebounds, and steals. I received numerous awards: County Tournament MVP, 1st team all area, team's MVP and DOP,and Christmas Classic all tournament team. We have this thing at all school where a senior boy and girl are crowned the school's name, and I was crowned Mr.CCHS. I was a recipent of the DAR Good Citzenship award, which is given to the recipent with outstanding leadership qualities, dependability, and service to community. I also participated in many volunteering organization. My favorite was when a group of my teammates and I went to our elementary school to spend a day with some of the kids, and that was blast, because I love kids. Finally graduation rolled around, one of the most happiest moments of my life, I thought that moment would never come. When they call my name to walk across that stage, my senior of highschool was officially over, thank God!
Freshmen Orientation.
My orientation was great. I met some very nice people and learned some new things. When I got there I had to sign in and get a name card. After that I had to go to an asssembly like function where different people talked to us about college life and the jump from highschool. They said "college is a different game", because you don't have mom and dad there to look after you anymore. They also mention that you should cherish your spare time, because you can always study if you're finish with your main work. My favorite speaker was this lady Mrs.E from Jersey. She told us that anything is possible if you put in the work. She grew up poor, but didn't let that stop her show; she went on to graduate highschool, and attended Rutgers University; graduating from there, and went on to be a success story. She has also wrote a book. After that we had lunch, boy was hungry. After lunch it was time to register for classes. We separated into groups, and went into a room with computers. Our advisors had already made our schedules out for us, so we didn't have to do anything, but submit our classes online. After registering for classes, it was time to take the long trip back home. Thats how my freshmen orientation went down. curian

Don't be Lazy
I know sometimes as humans, we tend to be lazy, and when we're being lazy we miss out on opportunities. I once had a lazy spell on me at one time, but I realized that I had to get out of that quick. When I started my freshmen year of highschool I did just enough to get by. I slacked on studying, paying attention in class, and other things that I shouldn't have been doing. The Bible says its not good to be lazy, and I had to change my laziness fast. So I started changing gradually, and finally I abolished every lazy bone in my body. So blogger nation out there, if you're the lazy type, you should try thinking about changing that aspect of your life, because its not healthy. Curian

The Right Attitude
Having the right attitude can get you along way in life. Some people attitudes hinder them from getting things that they really want. Its imperative to have a good attitude; it doesn't matter what the situation may be, because you don't know who's watching. This summer while I was working at an athletic store I encountered some people who were very nasty in attitude.I could have easily got one back with them, but I stayed cool, calm, and collective. I think having the right attitude shows maturity and self -discipline. Having the wrong attitude can be detrimental to your health physically and mentally. It can cause high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, etc. To the blogger nation out there; if you have a bad attitude or know someone with one, lets try working on that, because bad attitudes are not cool.

New Guy inTown
If were in charge of my high school, I'd probably set it on fire, naw just kidding .There would be so many changes and revisions. First I would make sure that every teacher is doing his or her best to try and make sure that the students are learning and coming out of the class with understanding of the subject at hand. Next if the students don't cooperate with others and not doing their lesson, I would take some of their privileges away such as, attending the pep rallys, gettin to leave school early if they have jobs, and other functions. Next I would change the dress code to uniforms, because that way the kids with the more expensive clothes and shoes want try to rag on the less fortunate kid who can't afford the expensive clothes. Being in charge may be a big responsaibilty, but I think I can ahndle with a little cooperation from others.
I Remember
I remember when I was a kid, I loved to ride horses. Riding horses made me feel like I was on top of the world. Most of the horses that I encountered were pretty gentle. I remeber this one time when a horse threw me and I was so devastated, because I thought that the horse was my friend. Being a kid and something like that happening to you, kills your confidence, but not mine, because I just loved riding horses. Horses are so fun to ride, especially when someone else is riding along side you. The type of horses I rode were call Tennessee Walking Horses, they were horses that had a different style from other oridinary horses. These horses were bred to be stylish and show horses. I remember when my dad and I used go to shows all over Alabama, showing our horses. Them were the good ole days. I don't have much time like I use to ride horses, but its still in my heart!!!

The Transition to College
In life we all have to make transitions. One of my most recent transitions has been moving to college. It has ran smoothly thus far.I've met alot of new people who have made me feel like family. I'm not trying to get brownie points with this, but surprisingly all of my instructors have been great. I don't know if its because I'm a freshmen or what. I'm still going through some transitions though , because I haven't found any good clean fun to get into, but it'll come, just need to continue to stay focus on my studies.I'm still adjusting to this transition, but I know that I will adjust and grow not only to like it, but love it.Thanks for listening blogger nation, until next time goodbye. My Favorite Moment while playing Highschool Basketball
Everyone has that moment where they fill like they're on top of the world. This moment dates back to my junior year of highschool, when my basketball team went to the state the championships games. I can't explain that filling, it was just so amazing. When got to leave school early, everyone was pulling for us, and overall it was just exciting. We breeze through preliminary rounds, and made it to the Final Four. Its just so ecstatic playing for championships. We got to Birmingham all excited ready for our next opponent. We beat that team an advanced to the state championship game. I want go into details with that game, because that's where my favorite moment of playing highschool basketball ended, but if any of you out there in blogger nation has a favorite moment, you should feel free and share it, because we're one big family. Curian
My Favorite Highschool Teacher.
Ever one has a favorite highschool teacher, but probably want admit it. I meet this teacher my 10th grade year of highchool. Her name was Mrs.Davis, and she was my Advanced English teacher and Spanish teacher. At first I thought she was the worst, because she was so hard on me. In the beginning I just did enough to get by, because I was so glad to be in highschool and playing varsity basketball. She had this motto that said," I always win", and she was right, she made me realize that if I wanted to be something in life, I couldn't do half work. Since then I've been motivated to do my best and try to be the best, but not in a conceited way, but an achievement way. So bloggers out there go ahead and blog about your favorite highschool teachers, because they might see it, and it would just make their day.
The Importance of Honesty
Honesty is a hard character to find in some people this day and time. Honesty will get you along way in life. I think God smiles on us when we're honest. This summer I was working at an athletic store, and it was this lady who dropped a sum of money on the floor, but she didn't realize that she dropped it, so I went over to pick it up, and caught up with her and gave it back. Some peole asked me things like ,why didn't you keep the money, I was like that's what you call honesty, by doing the right thing and given it back. Listen to this right here; the next Sunday at church I was given money by the pastor and members for practicing good character. To the blogger nation out there, its so important to practice being honest, because its the right thing to do; you may not always be rewarded, but you can live with yourself much easier.

My Favorite Movie
Being a sports a guy; I have to go with Friday Night Lights, thats based on a true story. What so great about this movie is the intensity it brings to the football world. The city where this movie took place is just like Alabama, a down right football town, and you got love that. Movies like these are so fun to watch, because they give you an idea what its like be apart of a prestigous program. This movie isn't just for entertaining, it has a life lesson in it. The star of the team and the biggest mouth on the team Boobie Myles was a great player, who was probably one of the top recruits in the nation at the time, but his arrogance and being so conceited caught up with him. One ht they were playing a team who they were destroying, but his big ego kicked in again; and he wanted to go in kicked the extra point while the coach was telling he had enough for the night; his coache gave in, and he went and got hurt and was out for the season. The point of that story is, don't think that you're the best and no one can stop you.
